Building a wall could be easy if you flex your executive muscles like President Trump is doing, or is it? Matt Apuzzo has published an article in the New York Times about President Trump already ordering for the border wall to built. The big take away from this article is that the project will cost an outstanding $20 billion and Mr. Trump has already said that he’s going to make sure Congress pays for the wall. However, Even though Mr. Trump used his executive power to get the wall approved , if Congress doesn’t agree then they won’t be funding this project. Even if Mr. Trump green lit the border wall, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be built. Should Presidents be able to override Congresses decisions or not even go through Congress at all to get what they want?
